The Raise Feedback functionality in Ottermap enables users to report issues or request changes related to specific coordinates on the map. This process allows seamless communication between users and the operations team, ensuring prompt attention to issues.
Note: Raise Feedback option is open for Completed Measurements.
Follow the below steps to raise Feedback/issue :
- Accessing the Feedback Feature
Click on
Raise Feedback icon in the map
button on the navbar.

- Creating a New Feedback Ticket
Click on
Add
button to create a feedback ticket on the map.

- Placing the Feedback on the Map
Move your cursor to the exact coordinate where you want to place a note. Once you click on that coordinate, a panel will appear with the title and description fields.
Note- You can add various types of file attachments, including images, videos, and documents.

- Filling Feedback Details & Submitting the Feedback
Fill in the details and click on
Submit
. Your feedback ticket will be created at a specific coordinate.

Edit Feedback
**Steps to Edit**
- Click on the coordinate icon representing your feedback on the map.
- Click on the Title or Description field you want to modify.
- Clear the existing content and enter your new details.
- Click the "Submit" button to save your changes.
Note: Editing is only allowed for open feedback (indicated by the red color status).

- Feedback Review Process
After submission, your feedback will be forwarded to the operations team for review. They will assess your request and take actions as outlined in your feedback.
- Tracking the Feedback Request
Throughout the process, you can track the status of your feedback. The following color codes indicate the feedback's progress:
